Brora 37 yr is the oldest Brora ever released in the Diageo Special Releases, only 2 976 bottles were release. This is the 14th such Brora bottling Distilled in 1977 and matured for 37 years in refill American oak hogsheads.
This was also the last year that Brora utilised its floor maltings. From 1979 till its closure in 1993 it outsourced its malt production to one of the big malting facilities, making this the last true Brora to encapsulate the distillery character in its entirety.

Nose: Leather, ginger, and stewed fruits on the nose, with smoky, dusty aromas.
Palate: Cooking apples, cinnamon, fudge, dried grass, and light peat (Lighter and fresher than previous veteran releases).
Finish : Sweet notes fade, leaving earthy, savoury smoke in the long finish.
